Seamless Bowls, Hoppers and Process Containers
Yunwei Hardware produces stainless steel bowls, hopper sections, liners and process containers for food-processing, packaging and cleaning equipment. The sheet metal deep draw process forms the vessel from a flat blank into a continuous cavity, reducing internal joints and creating smooth surfaces that are easier to clean than multi-piece constructions. Round bowls, conical transitions, flanged containers and formed liners can be developed to the customer’s equipment layout.
The manufacturing route is selected according to vessel diameter, depth, corner radii, flange width and outlet geometry. It may combine blanking, staged drawing, restriking, trimming, piercing, edge forming, welding of external fittings and polishing. For a large or geometrically demanding deep drawn part, the engineering review determines whether the body should be formed in multiple stages and which features should be added after drawing to protect dimensional stability and surface quality.

Stainless Steel Selection and Finish
304 stainless steel is widely considered for food-contact and general processing equipment because it combines corrosion resistance, durability and cleanability. 316 or 316L stainless steel may be evaluated where the process environment is more corrosive or cleaning conditions are more demanding. Final material selection remains subject to the customer’s media, temperature, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
Finish options listed by Yunwei Hardware for stainless steel include deburring, sandblasting, vibration polishing, electropolishing, brush polishing and mirror polishing. Product-contact surfaces, weld zones and required roughness should be identified on the drawing or technical specification. The finish must be approved for the actual cleaning and hygiene regime rather than selected for appearance alone.
Dimensions, Tolerances and Inspection
Each custom deep drawing part is controlled from an approved drawing. Important characteristics may include opening diameter, depth, flange flatness, wall transition, outlet location and fit within the surrounding frame. Tolerance capability is reviewed after considering material grade, sheet thickness, draw severity, polishing allowance and secondary welding.
Quality control may include material documentation, first-piece inspection, forming checks, visual finish criteria, weld inspection where applicable and final dimensional verification. Cleaning, leak, pressure or food-contact compliance tests are included only when specified and agreed for the project. This evidence-led approach helps buyers distinguish verified requirements from general marketing claims.
OEM Customization and Production Support
An OEM deep drawing part can be supplied as a formed vessel or integrated with brackets, outlets, handles or mounting hardware. Yunwei Hardware supports product design consultation, DFM, prototyping, sample testing and production scaling. Its broader metal deep drawing capability can also support related liners, guards and covers within the same equipment program. Provide the media, operating temperature, cleaning method, finish zone, annual demand and drawings so the team can evaluate materials, tooling and inspection requirements.
